AI wars ramping up
February 21, 2026
Anthropic and OpenAI have ramped up efforts to suit new users.
Anthropic is targeting enterprise users with tool offerings that span the white-collar office and knowledge-worker gamut. No task seems safe from Claude.
OpenAI, meanwhile, recently announced a partnership and acquisition of the popular OpenClaw agent framework. OpenAI has deep pockets and will likely continue attracting large corporate customers and investment.
Google and others are in the background for now, but expect more announcements soon, or another Chinese company shipping a low-cost, high-value frontier model (for example, Kimi 2.5).
The bottom line: this is a great market for makers and creative independents. The tools are powerful and adaptive. Build something.
